And the winners are…
Phelan Insurance Agency sponsored their 12th Annual Easter Coloring Contest for children ages 10 years old and younger. Over 130 entries were accepted from participants in Versailles and surrounding communities. The winners were announced this past week. The 2-4 age group winner was Claire Holzapfel, daughter of Brad & Holly Holzapfel of Versailles. The 5-7 age group winner was Elle DeMange, daughter of Kevin & Stacy DeMange of Versailles. Rowan Schmitmeyer, daughter of John & Megan Schmitmeyer of Versailles, was the winner of the 8-10 age group. Each winner received a large Easter basket.

It’s time for our Easter Coloring Contest!
It is time for the 12th Annual Phelan Insurance Easter Coloring Contest! The contest is open to children ages 10 and under. There will be a prize awarded in each of the following age groups: 2-4 year olds, 5-7 year olds, and 8-10 year olds.
Entry forms can be picked up at our Versailles or West Chester locations. You can also download and print the Coloring page (pdf).
All entries must be received by Friday, April 12, 2019.

James B. Phelan Memorial Internship and Scholarship
Phelan Insurance Agency is once again offering a joint internship and scholarship award in memory of its owner, James B. Phelan, who died in 2015. The award is open to current college students who attended high school in Darke, Miami, Mercer, Shelby or Auglaize counties. Applicants must be majoring in business, finance, marketing, accounting, insurance or risk management and must have completed two years of college by Dec. 31, 2018.
The award includes a paid internship at Phelan Insurance Agency, Versailles, plus a scholarship of up to $5,000, with the opportunity to renew the following year. The recipient will be expected to serve a full-time internship during the summer of 2019.

Commercial Lines Account Manager
Phelan Insurance is seeking a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team of dedicated insurance professionals.
You will be responsible for all client communication via the phone and internet, handling full renewals, auditing the account to assess changes and policy needs, quoting new business, researching problems, and rounding out accounts. The desired candidate will have the ability to provide exceptional customer service to a wide range of clients. Individuals with an insurance or customer service background are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence are key requirements.
